Kirk Wickersham

Kirk is a lawyer and real estate broker with over 40 years experience. He graduated from the University of Alaska and Yale Law School, and he also has a master’s degree from the University of Colorado. He created FSBO System in 1995.
Kirk is a member of the Alaska Bar Association and served on the Executive Committee of the Real Estate Law Section for many years, the Anchorage Board of Realtors, Commonwealth North and other civic and professional organizations. He also served as the Chair of the Alaska Real Estate Commission.
In 2007 the Governor appointed him to the Board of Regents of the University of Alaska, where he serves as Secretary. He also served as a Trustee of the University of Alaska Foundation and as a member of the Executive Committee of the Yale Law School Association.

He created two programs — the full service FSBO System Program — the complete package that takes you through the seven steps of selling on your own – and the Write It Up! Program for people who already have a buyer.
Both Programs provide all the help you need for as long as it takes.TM We’ve provided the same services with each program since 1995, but the way we’ve done it has constantly improved.
FSBO System Throughout the US and Canada
We spent over two years researching real estate markets, practices, procedures and forms throughout North America; creating new technologies, and developing the on-line tutorial program and customer support procedures, so that we could bring FSBO System to every community in the United States and Canada.
Customer Support
Our Customer Support team is available live over the phone during normal business hours, or by email. (And yes, Kirk takes a turn on the phones!) They are experienced in use of the FSBO System, but they can’t provide licensed real estate or legal advice because (of course) they can’t maintain a real estate or law license in every state and province.
FSBO System Counselors
We’re building a network of licensed real estate professionals specially trained to provide FSBO System help. You do not need to hire a FSBO System Counselor — the FSBO System is complete — but a Counselor can make the process easier for you, and help you through a complicated transaction or difficult negotiations.
The FSBO System Foundation
Over the years, clients have asked how they can express gratitude for our help in achieving their savings. Some have even offered to tip us. We established the FSBO System Foundation in 1999 for clients who want to contribute a portion of their savings to charitable causes. FSBO System and its employees also contribute to the Foundation. The Foundation is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and contributions are tax-deductible to the donor. All expenses of the Foundation are paid by the Company, so all contributions pass through 100% to the charities. Our recipients are religion-and-politics neutral, such as Habitat for Humanity and the victims of Hurricane Katrina and the Indonesian tsunami.
